Chris Howland CEO

Chris moved to Gibraltar in April 2021 and will be based here permanently. As the Chief Executive Officer of Quavor he will lead the strategic direction and overall management of the business. Chris has over 35 years of experience in equity trading and fund management, having run French equity trading for UBS in London and Paris and subsequently taking the role of Head of Equity Trading and Risk for Morgan Stanley in London. Chris has also developed and traded systematic models for a number of LLPs, establishing and running systematic hedge fund groups AdAstra Partners, Mount Row Capital and Xnumia PCC.

Gavin Ferris Chief Architect

Gavin worked for Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks company in Los Angeles where he pioneered 3d animation in film and developed the Cambridge Animation Systems' Animo software. Later he founded Crescent Technology, a trading software specialist which was taken over by Aspect Capital in 2007. Aspect Capital is a large CTA hedge fund managing $8.8bn in a range of systematic investment strategies, where Gavin was CTO and CIO for many years. Gavin has over 20 patents covering mobile, radio and digital communications technology, as well a method for the systematic trend-following of an underlying financial instrument. He holds a first class honours degree in Computer Science and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence both from the University of Cambridge. Software Components LLP supplies the technology  under sole licence.​

Rob Hamilton COO

Rob moved to Gibraltar in 2016, a serial entrepreneur having founded successful businesses in the UK and in Gibraltar. Originally partnering with British Telecom and subsequently independently, Rob has over 35 years sales and marketing experience, largely with global brands addressing both corporate and SME markets but as a business founder from 2006. He developed and proved a franchise marketing model for British Telecom and was instrumental in developing the infrastructure that facilitated the City’s banking industries migration to Canary Wharf.​

Andrea Lazenby CCO

With over 30 years of commercial experience Andrea started her professional life in marketing, following the completion of a degree in business studies. She then moved into the world of headhunting before heading up the leadership and development team for one of her former clients, AOL International.​

Relocating to Gibraltar, Andrea pivoted into the gambling industry, quickly building her reputation as a go to governance and compliance expert. With significant multi-jurisdictional experience, she thrives on working with businesses in complex and challenging situations, and relishes working with regulatory bodies. Andrea’s key skills are ensuring appropriate governance oversight at board level, establishing streamlined, operational compliance frameworks, driving a compliance first mentality by embedding processes with inclusion and transparency at their heart, and ensuring continuous improvement programmes keep pace with ever-changing regulatory landscapes.
